Event Details

As a person ages or experiences a decline in capacity, they may become vulnerable to influence from others regarding the disposition of their assets. This raises concerns about whether the person truly intends what the documents appear to express. In this second session of our estate litigation webinar series, we will explore the concerns of undue influence being applied to a person’s otherwise true intentions and what type of legal disputes can arise, both while the vulnerable person is alive and after their death. The practical and legal options to prevent or reverse this coercion upon the adult, and the law that applies to this concern, will be explored.

Whether you are a legal professional, caregiver, or simply interested in protecting loved ones, this webinar will provide valuable insights and strategies when dealing with suspicions of improper influence and coercion over a person’s wishes to ensure their true intentions are honoured.
