You’re invited to a fireside chat to introduce you to one of the newest members of our team at Fasken: Chief Perry Bellegarde. Perry Bellegarde has joined Fasken as a Special Advisor, a role which will allow him to share his deep experience, understanding and knowledge of First Nations peoples, issues and opportunities with our clients. The chat will be hosted by the leader of our Indigenous Law Group, Kevin O’Callaghan, who will start off the conversation with Perry Bellegarde, with an opportunity for those watching to contribute their questions as well. We look forward to an enlightening conversation that will give us all insight into the role of business as a force of reconciliation and the importance of discovering the nature of Indigenous priorities and interests, much of which is grounded in the rights of Indigenous Peoples, and their diverse histories and cultures across Canada.
